The Danger of Vote Fraud in the 2008 Election

The most provocative line in the Democratic national platform adopted in Denver is: “We oppose laws that require identification in order to vote or register to vote.” Since it’s routine to show an ID in order to board a plane and do dozens of other very ordinary things, what’s the big deal about showing an ID to exercise the most important privilege of citizenship?

Fund’s book makes fascinating reading because of his descriptions of many specific examples of vote fraud that actually determined the outcome of elections. Fund describes in detail some of the more outrageous examples of recent vote fraud in Chicago, Indiana, St. Louis, Seattle, Milwaukee, Mississippi and Georgia.  Fund believes that the biggest opportunity for vote fraud this year is the registration tactics of ACORN (Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now). ACORN is a classic Saul Alinsky-style community-organizing group, and it has received hundreds of thousands of taxpayer dollars as well as corporate donations.

It’s no surprise that ACORN is closely associated with Barack Obama. Right after graduating from the Harvard Law school, Obama was recruited by ACORN to run a successful voter registration drive for an ACORN affiliate, Project Vote.  ACORN claims that, along with Project Vote, it registered 1.15 million new voters in 2004 and deployed 4,000 get-out-the-vote workers on Election Day. The job of handling legitimate voters is tremendously complicated by phony registrations and by the tactic of filing new registrations on the last possible day when there is not adequate time to verify them.  In 2008, Obama was a major supporter of a Democratic housing bill that provided $200 million to community groups (such as ACORN) that are counseling homeowners facing foreclosure. ACORN is pledging to spend $35 million this year registering persons who will vote.  With the 2008 elections as close as they are predicted to be, Obama’s best chance to win is to flood new names on the registration rolls who may or may not be eligible voters. It is more important than ever that voter ID be used in order to make sure that ballot boxes are not stuffed by voter impersonators.

Open letter to Obamaites and Undecideds

Dear Obamaites and Undecided Voters:

 

Obama is arguably the least qualified, most radical anti-American presidential candidate ever to run for the White House. 

 

The color of his skin is irrelevant. 

 

All his close associates over the years are radicals who call for the complete dismantling of all traditional American values: the Creator endows rights, private property, economic freedom, Judeo-Christian ethics, all people created equal, fairness, goodness, justice. 

 

Obama’s Public Allies is anti-American.   His systemic support of ACORN* reveals his anti-Americanism.  His platform is distinctly anti-American.  He engages in voter fraud.  He accepts illegal money from abroad.  He threatens people who disagree by appealing to law enforcement to stifle debate. He encourages class warfare.  He wants to control your life and take away liberty.  Universal health care is not benevolent.  It is a control thing-cradle to grave.  If Obama is elected, he will stack the Court, and if radical Leftists continue to control the legislature, he will have sufficient power to turn our once-great freedom-loving republic into a neo-socialist dictatorship. 

 

On that day, you’ll wonder where your freedoms went, but hey, we’ll be cozy cousins with Putin, Chavez and Castro, not to mention Kim Jung Il, Amadinejad and Mugabe. He will tax and spend us to hell.  The current economic situation is nothing comparatively.

 

You guys just don’t get it: Obama wants to bring American to her knees so he can usher in the new socialist utopia.   

 

As Obama’s chief mentor Saul Alinsky taught, this has to be phased in.  Once capitalism is destroyed, there must be a period of “the dictatorship of the proletariat.”  Everyone will be proletariat, except the privileged and prosperous few in government.   This “temporary” dictatorship of the proletariat is necessary to remove all the sinful stain of capitalism, organize us to work for the common good, “voluntarily,” purge us of self-interest, and eventually transition us to the “paradise of communism,” another Alinsky catch phrase. 

 

The trouble is, no one has ever seen the transition from the DICTATORSHIP OF THE PROLETARIAT to the PARADISE OF COMMUNISM.  Everyone always gets stuck in that dictatorship thing.  

 

Blindly following Obama is sheepish.  Do you think he will hear your bleating once he has the White House?

Bill Maher: Man of Faith

Although he doesn’t know it, Bill Maher is a man of faith.

He has faith his audience will sustain him no matter what comes out of his mouth on Friday nights.

He has faith his money will be good at the Playboy mansion.

He has faith his brain stem will continue to regulate his metabolism, blood flow, respiration, brain function.

He has faith Time Warner and HBO will protect him from the Catholic Church.

He has faith Todd Palin is not vindictive.

Bill has faith people will forget his crude remarks about 9/11.

He has faith no one of significance will hold him accountable for his seditious lies.

Bill Maher has faith there is no God, and if it turns out there is, Bill has faith he won’t be held accountable.

Bill has faith his movie will have an impact but the statistics so far contradict that faith, indicating Bill is only preaching to the choir. *

He has faith when he dies, that is all there is to it, there is no hell.

When Jesus Christ asks him, “What does it profit a man to gain the whole world but lose his soul?”, Bill has faith that Christ is wrong, he will not lose his soul.

Yet, even if one removes eternity from consideration, the faith of Bill Maher remains entirely self-centered, belying an immaturity and self-focus which are entirely antagonistic to a sense of community, the idea of people working for the greatest good for the greatest number.

Good luck with that faith of yours, Bill.  You’ll need it, or not.  Believe it or not, many people of faith are praying for your soul, praying you’ll turn before God runs out of patience.
