Maherly Fair
The Religulous parade

Excerpt:
“Of course, Bill Maher is also on the board of PETA, thinks milk is poisonous, and has stated that he doesn’t believe in vaccination or that Louis Pasteur’s germ theory of disease is correct. So while he may not believe in God, the idea that Bill Maher is somehow in a position to judge whose beliefs are reasonable is kind of laughable.
Particularly when Maher thinks he knows so much more about the target of his opprobrium than he actually does. He makes his first mistake in the first line of the movie by referring to the “Book of Revelations” — it’s not plural — and it just snowballs from there.
Within a few minutes Maher is denying not just the divinity of Jesus Christ but his actual historical existence, a question disputed by almost no credible scholar.”

Vast Majority of Americans Honor U.S. Military
http://news.yahoo.com/s/rasmussen/20081110/pl_rasmussen/vetsday0820081110_1
It’s the Soldier, not the reporter, who gives us freedom of the press.
It’s the Soldier, not the poet, who has given us freedom of speech.
It’s the Soldier, not the campus or community organizer, who has given us freedom to demonstrate.
It’s the Soldier, not the lawyer, who insures the right to a fair trial.
It’s the Soldier, not the politician, who gives us liberty.
It’s the Soldier, not the government, who dies in defense of the defenseless.
It’s the Soldier who salutes the flag, who serves the flag, whose coffin is draped in the flag, allowing the protester to burn the flag.
According to the Declaration of Independence, it is our Creator , not the government, who endows us with unalienable rights to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness, all preserved and defended by the American soldier throughout our history.

UNDERSTANDING IRAN
By Michael Ledeen October 2008
http://www.hillsdale.edu/news/imprimis.asp
“Al Qaeda forged alliances with the National Islamic Front in the Sudan and with the government of Iran and its associated terrorist group, Hezbollah, for the purpose of working together against their perceived common enemies in the West, particularly the United States.”
“Our choices with regard to Iran are to challenge them directly and win this war now, to do so only after they kill a lot more of us in some kind of attack, or to surrender. There is no painless way out, and the longer we wait, the greater the pain is going to be.”
