Interesting that Democrats and Independents were the first to raise the question. Philip Berg is a long-time Democrat. This is not a partisan thing. This is an issue of playing by the rules, the rule of law, equal treatment, basic fairness, respect for the Constitution, the very fiber of our nation. Disrespect that and the whole structure crumbles. Too many Americans think we are invincible, bullet-proof, untouchable. However, unless we remain vigilant to defend and protect the Constitution, we risk losing our liberty, and with it, everything else. People who fail or refuse to sense the dangers, sneer at the importance of this issue, and thumb their noses at simple patriots sending the alarm, do themselves and everyone else a great injustice.
