. . . nor is it a surprise George H.W. Bush and William Jefferson Clinton are such good friends.
9.22.09 UPDATE: U.S. to push for new economic world order at G20
* ”The framers of the U.S. constitution have simply been too shrewd for us. They have outwitted us. They designed separate institutions that cannot be unified by mechanical linkages, frail bridges, tinkering. If we are to ‘turn the Founders upside down’ — we must directly confront the constitutional structure they erected.”
“The Power to Lead,” by James McGregor Burns, 1984

LEADERS READY FOR NEW WORLD ORDER

AND THESE ARE THE SMARTEST PEOPLE IN THE WORLD?
Then so much for hope and change based on trust in human wisdom…
by Allan Erickson
Millions of Americans have been scratching their heads in recent months, asking ‘what on earth is going on?’
Why the political blitzkrieg to radically transform our country on practically every front at lightning speed?
Why one crisis after another?
Why is the government taking financial irresponsibility to new heights?
Why is this new government seemingly unconcerned about terrorism or our lethal enemies elsewhere?
Why the push for gun control, expansion of abortion, control of the internet, violations of civil rights, denigration of the Constitution, centralization of power?
Why is Christianity being attacked on every front?
Some assert Obama hates America. They say he wants to refashion America, transforming the country into a Euro-socialist state. But that was largely accomplished long ago, before Obama rose to power.
Some people think this President and his allies simply want America to modernize and more fully engage the rest of the world in more benevolent and positive ways, despite the fact America has led the march to modernity and is probably more engaged globally than most nation states.
Other people believe Obama is a plant, a tool, a man groomed from an early age to upend capitalism and help create an egalitarian utopia.
Well, it would appear Mr. Obama is a tool alright, but only one in the shed.
If you read about the idea of an “open society” as put forward by George Soros, you get some sense of where Obama is taking us, but one doubts if either Obama or Soros fully realize the gamble they’re insisting we play.
The collectivist impulse Janice Rogers Brown has decried is only a part of the story. The impulse to achieve security and control, even at the expense of liberty, appears the overriding motivation.
No doubt the traumas inflicted on humankind by 20th century world wars and attending atrocities have driven many thinkers, educators and politicians to insist global problems can only be solved by global government. The rapidity of change, advances in technology and communications, nuclear proliferation, environmental degradation and escalations of violence have combined to create a world which, they say, is unsustainable, a world on the brink of apocalypse.
All one need do is listen to the hyperbole broadcast by Al Gore to get the picture: unless humankind intervenes with global cooperation we are doomed.
Hence the mad dash to one world currency, one world government: the Rodney King ultimatum; ‘can’t we all just get along’ (?) on steroids.
Terrorized by the prophets of world’s end, masses of people anoint this or the other messiah, desperately crying out for ‘peace and safety’ in fear of ’sudden destruction.’
Undoubtedly the forces pushing for global governance envision a benevolent community of man, a system of fairness driven by altruistic motives, nurturing of Mother Nature, charitable, accommodating, and sufficiently powerful to crush troublemakers, those who would trample the utopian dream.
It isn’t that the utopians hate America so much. Rather, America stands in their way. Christian America takes a stand for right versus wrong: she advances a clear moral agenda and protects and defends those values than hinder utopia. Therefore, American must give way. After all, you cannot create an egalitarian utopia if people insist on national sovereignty. You must destroy national identities to form global federalism, and besides, nationalism causes wars and promotes tyranny, right?
You can’t achieve utopia if you have a bunch of religious fanatics claiming their rights come from God. For a global government to be realized, there must be consensus that rights come from government. Consequently, the religious fanatics must change, or migrate, or become extinct.
Therefore, these outdated ideas in the Constitution must be ‘directly confronted’ and ‘turned upside down.’
It is no accident therefore that everyone connected to the Obama administration is cut from the same cloth: one world government advocates, or as the new term describes it, ‘trans-nationalism.’ Everything is viewed through a trans-national lens, and all policies direct the establishment of a global government.
After all, what person in his/her right mind would object to a ‘hands across the sea’ approach to international peace and understanding?
Sec. of State Hillary Clinton recently said that “ideology is so yesterday.” What did she mean by that?
Well, in her mind, and in the minds of people like Bill Clinton, Barack Obama, most Democrats and too many Republicans (in name only), it means the brave new world is not about socialism versus capitalism, creationism versus Darwinism, democracy versus communism, religion versus atheism, or the ruling class versus the third world. No. HRC is right. It’s not about ideology.
It’s about indisputable pragmatism.
There is no other way you see.
Global federalism, or one world government, or trans-nationalism—-whatever you call it—is our ONLY salvation, according the HRC and BHO and FDR and Woodrow Wilson, and even George H. W. Bush and his son.
And it has not been accomplished thus far by revolution. Instead their progress has been realized through infiltration, staged change, gradual paradigm shifts and influence via education, the arts, media, entertainment, so-called journalism and staged crises used to great advantage to convince people of the INDISPUTABLE PRAGMATISM.
Al Gore, another tool, provides an excellent example to prove the point: the debate concerning man-made global warming is over. (What a great crowbar in the advance of Trans-nationalism.)
The establishment of world government—wholly dependent upon human intelligence and capability— relies solely on two frail presuppositions: the sufficiency of human wisdom and ability, and the expectation people will cooperate for the greater good, setting aside self-interest in deference to the health of the collective.
History teaches over and over that people are selfish, they do not place self-interest in the back seat, and no amount of political pressure short of authoritarianism approaches the goal. Even the most extreme forms of authoritarianism fail to control and rightly direct the masses.
Secondly, history also teaches we humans—existing as we do as combinations of angels and demons—cannot forsake an innate drive to be free. When the New World Order is threatened by freedom lovers, can there be any question who will prevail? Again, the only outcome must be tyranny.
And what kind of utopia exists thanks to the tyrant?
This, then, is the great gamble Soros and Obama force us to play—they ask us to bet on an inside straight, they suggest we ignore history and human nature, and embrace one world government, knowing the odds are we will instead draw the tyranny card.
For when the dream of utopia is dashed, with democratic republicanism destroyed forever, the only card left is tyranny.
Security and control are illusions. Even tyrants eventually lose control, putting everyone’s security at risk.
The road to hell is indeed paved with good intentions.
For two centuries America has stood for goodness. She has stood against the thug and the tyrant. She has disappointed their plans for world domination many times. For all her faults she remains a beacon of hope and freedom.
If we allow her sovereign shores to surrender to trans-nationalism, the Thugs are US, and the hope of the world dies with us.

“The Trilateral Commission is intended to be the vehicle for multinational consolidation of the commercial and banking interests by seizing control of the political government of the United States. The Trilateral Commission represents a skillful, coordinated effort to seize control and consolidate the four centers of power political, monetary, intellectual and ecclesiastical. What the Trilateral Commission intends is to create a worldwide economic power superior to the political governments of the nation states involved. As managers and creators of the system, they will rule the future.”
