Henry Louis Gates: the words of a ’scholar’

Dr. Gates: friend of Obama.  Rich white people are the problem, a theme of Gates, Cornel, Wright and Farrakhan.  Do you get the impression these men believe they are the only ones with a handle on the truth?  And what is their truth?  Examine the following.  It  appears their truth boils down to these conclusions:  whites are to blame for all the suffering in the black community, the only solution is the systematic suppression of whites, or black supremacy, or complete segregation, or, annihilation of whites.  

Unbelieveable?  

Check it out.  (It is my suggestion that the more we learn about these radicals, the more people, black and white, will reject their hateful agenda, and instead, turn and embrace real racial reconciliation.)

Standing to the right of Prof. Gates in the YouTube video is Dr. Cornel West of Princeton.    Here is Dr. West’s take on America: “the vicious legacy of white supremacy,”  appearance on Al Jazeera.

Asserts redistribution of wealth from the poor to the privileged during last 30 years.  (Begs the question how ‘wealth’ can flow from the poor to the rich when the poor have no wealth to begin with.  Also, more people have been lifted out of poverty in the last 30 years than ever before.  Shall we speak the truth?  Notice how Cornel ’softly’ pedals his own form of bigotry.)

Notice further how Dr. Cornel and Dr. Gates imply they are Christians, invoking the language of the Cross, and the image of the Cross, but denying its power and contradicting the teaching of Scripture. 

“Brother Jeremiah Wright is my dear friend,” says Dr. Cornel.     Jeremiah Wright and Dr. Martin Luther King were largely saying the same things, just in different ways, he claims.

Farrakhan instructs us on race relations on Al Jazeera

Never forget Farrakhan believes all whites are devils.   All the suffering of blacks is the fault of whites.  Jews are a huge part of the problem, according to Farrakhan.

[How can there ever be reconciliation with this kind of thinking?]

The logic of Gates, Wright, West, Malcolm X, Farrakhan and many others leads this black professor to say the only solution is to kill all white people.

Wright that America is a thoroughly evil country, populated mostly by white devils, and the “logic” they preach leaves only two options: complete segregation (i.e. black supremacy), or annihilation of whites.  

Summary:  are we saying a race war is inevitable?  No. 

Are we saying all black activists want a race war?  No. 

Are we objecting to the pervasive hate speech and rancor designed to continue the conflict and forward the agenda of the radical Left?  YES.  

As a Christian do I object to people who call themselves Christians and then promote hate agendas?  Of course. 

QUESTION: If crimes against Africans is the focus, and if it is true, according to the historical record, the greatest offenders have always been Muslims, even to the present day, then why do American blacks so frequently embrace Islam, and continue to denigrate American Christianity, especially when it was English and American Christians who not only ended slavery, but they were also the ones to confront Muslim exploitation of Africans as well.

ANOTHER QUESTION:  Why do people like Gates and Cornel and others condemn President Bush when the truth is President Bush acted to increase aid to the black community in the U.S. more than any of his predecessors, and, he provided Africa with unprecedented assistance to fight poverty and AIDS?

Question:  Since Mr. Obama was tutored and influenced by any number of radicals preaching anti-American vitriol, is it reasonable to conclude the man really hates America, and is therefore on a mission to radically transform our country into something he can stomach?

And we haven’t even started connecting the Obama dots to Arafat, the Saudi royal family, Rashid Kalidi, Tony Rezko and Frank Marshall Davis.

A President with Contempt in his Heart

The President is in Missouri today–assuring people he is a fiscal conservative—holding a town hall meeting to celebrate his first 100 days in office. 

 

On television, the crowd behind him, all white faces.  Hum. 

 

We used to see a lot of black and brown faces behind the President.  Apparently it is time to employ new imagery, new symbolism, new tactics and strategies. 

 

Cynical?  Divisive?

 

Still, the big smiles.  Loads of applause. 

 

He proclaims he has started to ‘remake’ America.

 

Some would call it the dismantling of America.

 

We have indeed entered a different dimension, a dimension beyond time or space, beyond reason: the Twilight Zone for this republic.

 

How can it be people applaud this man as he continues to campaign instead of assuming the responsibility of office; while he behaves like a candidate rather than acting like a president?

 

How is it the polls claim a 60% approval rating for this man, and at the same time the majority of people polled seriously disagree with his policies.

 

This is the mother of all disconnects.

 

In a time of record financial chaos and government mismanagement and corruption, national debt, deficits and complete government irresponsibility, the president forces more government power and authority, increasing spending $5 Trillion, proposing tax increases amounting to $1.5 Trillion (see anything wrong with those numbers?).

 

He is doubling the size and power of the central government to the detriment of the states and individual liberty.  Then he tells us he would prefer a smaller, leaner central government.  He is lying to you America. 

 

Government is the problem, yet this President insists it is our salvation.

 

And people applaud.

 

We can detail all the missteps and errant appointments, the grand European tour replete with a 500-person entourage yielding zero for the U.S, and the Latin tour complete with cozy smiley times with murderous dictators.  We could recount the horrendous run up of debt, government spending, power grabs, expansion of the central government, tax increases, entitlement expansion, bailouts, cap and trade based on junk science, misguided stimulus packages, all aggravating recession, and so on. 

 

We might even talk about this president’s political blitzkrieg to jam his leftist agenda down the throats of all Americans with a daily barrage of executive orders, legislative initiatives, and rules changes.

 

We can talk about putting the census under control of the White House, a grievous power grab, proposals to allow the president to micromanage the internet and access your private data, the confiscation of private industries, nationalizing the banks, forcing unionization, running roughshod over the states, and a number of measures to concentrate power, which always means a reduction in personal liberty.

 

And all these matters would be cause enough for alarm, alarm New Yorkers felt as the White House spent $328,000 in one afternoon recently flying Air Force One low over the city for a photo op.  A photo op.   Citizens were terrorized.   The mayor was furious he was not informed beforehand.  The President apologized.  People applaud.  

 

Do we have out of control adolescents in the Executive?

 

For all the issue disputes, examination of missteps and philosophical debates we engage concerning this new Administration, the most reprehensible attitude of the new power brokers in Washington is their demonstrated contempt for The People.

 

The President and this Congress don’t give a damn about you: what you think or what you are experiencing.   This government is more concerned about grabbing and concentrating power, advancing a far left agenda, killing unborn children, promoting abhorrent lifestyles, accommodating illegal aliens and spying on ‘right wing’ extremists than it is in fiscal responsibility, economic freedom, The Constitution, national security and family health.

 

This President and this Congress show a contempt for The People.

 

Huge majorities have said for years we DO NOT want government funding of abortion.   One of the President’s first acts was to lift the ban on overseas government funding of abortion, and then put in his budget huge increases in funding for Planned Parenthood.  He plans to sign federal legislation to eradicate all state authority on the abortion question, another expression of disrespect for the will of The People.

 

He holds contempt for the majority view.

 

We the People have said in clear terms we abhor partial birth abortion.  Fully 88% of the people oppose stabbing full term babies in the back of the neck once they are 2/3’s delivered.  Still the President promotes the practice and appoints a Sec. of Health & Human Services who, as governor, vetoed a bill in Kansas that would have forced doctors to justify mostly-born abortion: murder in the eyes of many in the pro-abortion camp. 

 

This President could care less what the people think, feel, believe or prefer. Apparently he views his election as a mandate to assume the throne.

 

Vast majorities believe we should have a strong defense, that Gitmo should remain operational, and terrorists should be detained.

 

In only 100 days this government has cut development of new weapons systems, isolated our troops in Afghanistan, moved to close Gitmo, and released terrorists, people who will kill Americans, once again.

 

Solid majorities disagree with the decision to release interrogation memos.   The memos are released anyway, without a full explanation of what went on before, why the Bush administration did as it did, and what actual results were derived.  Only that portion of the story which skewered Bush and elevated Obama was communicated, a move designed to pander politically, not a presidential decision on behalf of securing the homeland.

 

We already knew the three terrorists largely responsible for 9/11 had been waterboarded.  Releasing these memos somehow forwards whose cause?  Intelligence experts say we did not torture but aggressive interrogation saved thousands of American lives, but this President wants to shame America and appease our enemies, even going so far as to give them advantages on the battlefield, placing our troops in greater danger.

 

And he has the gall to claim he is advancing our security and respects the military?  BS.

 

Majorities of Americans respect the 2nd Amendment and do not want gun control.

 

This government is promoting gun control.

 

Majorities of Americans do not want amnesty for illegal aliens.

 

This government is promoting amnesty.

 

Most people do not want same sex marriage.  This government is promoting it.

 

Most people do not want hate crimes legislation passed and signed into law.  Watch Barney Frank and President Obama ram it through.

 

Most people understand adult stem cells are yielding results, but using embryonic stem cells is neither scientifically warranted nor morally justified.

 

Well, The People are once again held in contempt. 

 

The People oppose bailouts, massive stimulus, the run up of insurmountable debt and high taxes.

 

The Administration’s response(?): stick it in your ear. 

 

Most Americans do not believe the federal government should dominate all walks of life.

 

This government has seized so much power that it now regulates most aspects of life, and once they have control of healthcare, citizens will be cradle to grave wards of the state.

 

This President and this Congress rules a people it despises, and some people applaud.

 

Upwards of one million citizens hit the streets April 15 to protest, and the President’s press secretary said he was unaware of the protests.  (“Let them eat cake?”)

 

It is clear this President holds contempt for traditional Americanism and is working feverishly to ‘remake’ this country into something altogether different, altogether government-dominated, altogether reactionary in a very real sense, a combination of feudalism and Marxist-Leninism, a democracy in name only with no real leadership role in world affairs, a UN lapdog driven by the collectivist impulse.

 

There is an old adage that runs:  you don’t give the car keys to a drunken teenager.

 

But that’s what we did Nov. 4th.

 

When the car gets totaled, and there are bodies all over the highway, we’ll have no one to blame but ourselves.

“So, you know, when you see — those of you who are watching certain news channels on which I’m not very popular and you see folks waving tea bags around, let me just remind them that I am happy to have a serious conversation about how we are going to cut our health care costs down over the long term, how we’re going to stabilize Social Security.”

“But let’s not play games and pretend that the reason is because of the [$787 billion stimulus bill], because that’s just a fraction of the overall problem that we’ve got.”

(Yes, sir, of course you are right.  We are only playing games to protest your policies.  We should simply trust you when you say you are all for fiscal responsibility after massive spending increases, massive debt incurred on the backs of our grandchildren, and massive tax increases in every underhanded fashion imaginable.)

I didn’t know I was funding terrorism

I bet you didn’t know you are too!

Imagine my surprise learning today I’m funding terrorism.  And guess what, if you are an American taxpayer, you are funding terrorism too.

 

 

“Surprise” is a soft word, eh?  “Horrified” is more appropriate.

 

 

Is this true?  How can this be?  Please let me explain.

 

 

Not too long ago we were forced to refinance thanks to a business ‘partner’ who stole a significant sum, destroying a business venture, leaving us without income for six months while we started over.  Part of that refinance package included a Citi second mortgage a high rate of interest, with a balloon.

 

 

We have dutifully made our mortgage payments.

 

 

When we had a new baby girl a while ago, before the meltdown and bailouts, we decided we needed more life insurance, so we purchased a policy from AIG, and paid up front.

 

 

Now I learn from Frank Gaffney and Daniel Greenfield and others our mortgage payments and insurance premium are being managed by Islamic scholars to fund terrorism and finance the destruction of western civilization. No BS. 

 

 

Since the U.S. government now owns controlling interest in both Citigroup and AIG, guess what?  Your tax dollars are going to Muslims who do not have your best interests at heart.

 

 

“The U.S. taxpayer now owns most of AIG and Citigroup, two companies massively engaged in Shariah-compliant transactions, at odds with our constitutional separation of church and state,” writes Gaffney in a column published yesterday.

Nazih Hammad is a board member of the North American Fiqh Council.  The North American Fiqh Council is another one of the Saudi front groups operating in America, one of whose trustees was Alamoudi, an Al Qaeda fundraiser. The North American Fiqh Council’s former President, Taha Jaber Al-Alawani, was an unindicted co-conspirator in the case of Islamic Jihad leader, Sami Al Arian. And there was board member Sheikh Muhammad al-Hanooti, who had extensive Hamas ties.’

So, is my money going to prop up Saudi princes and, through channels, to kill Americans in Iraq and Afghanistan and elsewhere?

Remember the dual claim that Al-Mansour is a principal advisor to one of the world’s richest men:  Prince Al-Waleed Bin Talal of Saudi Arabia.  Can it be Obama’s record-setting financial war chest is filled in part with funds from this Prince?  An official with the Federal Election Commission has called for an investigation of the Obama campaign and the allegation foreign money is flowing to Obama, illegally.

 

If people watch these videos, and the ones following, and consider the accompanying evidence, and still make Barack Obama President, then this is no longer the America of Washington, Lincoln and Jefferson.

In fact Obama was associated with Ayers in multiple ways for many years, they worked together, and supported one another. Obama was CEO of the Chicago Annenberg Challenge, an educational reform organization Ayers used to radicalize public education. *  Obama was the CEO for four years, 1995-1999, and Ayers served on the board the entire time, not to mention their intimate association at the Woods Foundation.  The Woods Foundation funded ACORN, and Obama served as a trainer and attorney for ACORN.(2)

The simple fact Obama is lying about his association to Ayers disqualifies him for any public office, not to mention the issues raised concerning judgment, character and trustworthiness surrounding this controversy, not to mention his history of radical partnerships, strong affiliations Obama is now working desperately to hide.

 

More compelling is the fact Obama thinks our country is fatally ill, and morally depraved—racist, sexist, homophobic, exploitive, oppressive and jingoistic.  This is what Bill Ayers has believed for 40 years.  This is what Jeremiah Wright believes.  It is what Father Pfleger believes.  And these are the beliefs of Obama political partners Louis Farrakhan, Frank Marshall Davis, Bernadette Dorn, Michelle Obama, Tony Rezko, Rashid Khalidi (1) and Khalid Al-Mansour**, the man suspected of providing the money for Obama’s Harvard Law School education.

Furthermore, Ayers and Obama say public education must be transformed because it is nothing more than a “reflection of capitalist hegemony.”  You see, capitalist, imperial America, dominates everything.  What do you do in the face of such oppression?  You overthrow it of course.  *

 

Ayers and his wife declared war on America forty years ago.  They used violence to try and overthrow our government, bombing federal buildings, attempting murder, and actually helping others kill law enforcement officers.  Failing a violent overthrow of our government, they ensconced themselves in education, and have been working from within for decades to achieve overthrow through activism.

 

Obama is their knight in shining armor.

The [Chicago Annenberg Challenge's] (CAC) agenda flowed from Mr. Ayers’s educational philosophy, which called for infusing students and their parents with a radical political commitment, and which downplayed achievement tests in favor of activism. In the mid-1960s, Mr. Ayers taught at a radical alternative school, and served as a community organizer in Cleveland’s ghetto.

 

In works like “City Kids, City Teachers” and “Teaching the Personal and the Political,” Mr. Ayers wrote that teachers should be community organizers dedicated to provoking resistance to American racism and oppression. His preferred alternative? “I’m a radical, Leftist, small ‘c’ communist,” Mr. Ayers said in an interview in Ron Chepesiuk’s, “Sixties Radicals,” at about the same time Mr. Ayers was forming CAC….

 

Mr. Ayers’s defenders claim that he has redeemed himself with public-spirited education work. That claim is hard to swallow if you understand that he views his education work as an effort to stoke resistance to an oppressive American system… For Mr. Ayers, teaching and his 1960s radicalism are two sides of the same coin.

 

Mr. Ayers is the founder of the “small schools” movement (heavily funded by CAC), in which individual schools built around specific political themes push students to “confront issues of inequity, war, and violence.” He believes teacher education programs should serve as “sites of resistance” to an oppressive system. (His teacher-training programs were also CAC funded.) The point, says Mr. Ayers in his “Teaching Toward Freedom,” is to “teach against oppression,” against America’s history of evil and racism, thereby forcing social transformation.
