Calls for Tax Revolt.
Military officers from the U.S. Army, Navy, Air Force and Marines are working with California attorney Orly Taitz and her Defend Our Freedoms Foundation, citing a legal right established in British common law nearly 800 years ago and recognized by the U.S. Founding Fathers to demand documentation that may prove – or disprove – Barack Obama’s eligibility to be president.

Polls are shifting.
President Obama is strongly supported by 40% of the people with 27% strongly disagreeing with him. This is a big shift in only a few weeks.
The stock market has gone down consistently since he took office. Some say we have moved from recession to depression. He said he would cut off influence peddling, then hires lobbyists, seeking waivers of a policy he instituted only days before. He said no pork, no earmarks, then rammed them down our throats. He said he would bring fairness and economic opportunity, and now we see class warfare, heightened tensions, robbing from the productive sectors to subsidize laziness, federal control of the economy, and social engineering on a scale never before imagined.
People are increasingly uneasy about this President, even flat out terrified by what is happening, at lightening speed.
Here are some of the glaring reasons for the mounting discontent:
|Obama’s Punishing Tax Plans Echo Wright’s Rants
by Ron Kessler
|One of the unanswered questions during the presidential campaign was how Barack Obama could listen to the anti-American, anti-capitalist ravings of his minister for 20 years if he did not believe in those teachings. Now we know the answer: At least when it comes to capitalism and the power of the profit motive, President Obama does believe in what the Rev. Jeremiah Wright had to say.To be sure, a progressive tax structure is nothing new. As it is, the top 5 percent of households pay nearly 60 percent of federal income taxes. But Obama wants to raise taxes even more on the income, dividends, and capital gains of those making $250,000 a year or more to help pay for colossal increases in federal government spending. Most of those penalized under the tax hike are small businesses, which create most new jobs.
And here’s the number one take away for the American people. Ronald Reagan understood that if you wanted to encourage jobs and you wanted to encourage economic growth, you had to encourage the people who invented jobs and the people who created economic growth. And he understood that liberalism’s effort at big taxes, big regulations, big litigation were just wrong. That’s why the scene you used, Sean, was so exactly right. Now what are we seeing today? First of all, in a way that should really bother people, this administration is turning out to be very systemically dishonest. And I think your point is exactly right.

In his campaign and inaugural address, Barack Obama cast himself as a moderate man seeking common ground with conservatives.
Yet, his budget calls for the radical restructuring of the U.S. economy, a sweeping redistribution of power and wealth to government and Democratic constituencies. It is a declaration of war on the Right.
The real Obama has stood up, and lived up to his ranking as the most left-wing member of the United States Senate.

President Lyndon Johnson’s administration was known for his War on Poverty. President Obama’s will become notable for his War on Prosperity.
In the three months since the election, the broadest measure of the stock market’s value, the Wilshire 5000 Index, has plunged more than 30%, slicing over $3 trillion from Americans’ wealth. Investors have walked away from investing, while businesses shut down factories and offices and slash jobs.
This is both highly significant and dangerous. Capital, bluntly put, has gone on strike. Those who own wealth are pushing it to the sidelines, as a young and inexperienced president tries to jam through the most sweeping economic changes in over 70 years.
The prospect of these changes becoming law has already radically altered our nation’s economy. Entrepreneurs and CEOs who once created new products, new services, jobs and trillions in wealth for America’s workers and retirees now find themselves vilified and punished for their success.
ABC News reported this week that many upper-income taxpayers already are planning to cut back on work and investments to stay under $250,000 in income — the point where Obama’s punitive taxes kick in. No one wins from this, yet Obama seems oblivious.
Otherwise, need we mention again the colossal mistakes made over and over formulating a Cabinet and appointing others to positions of responsibility, a sure sign the lack of executive experience is doing great damage.
Foreign Policy: a mess already. HRC is in the Middle East right now, alienating our Israeli friends by insisting they help with the formulation of a Palestinian state, just as billions are being poured into Gaza, for “reconstruction,” which means revitalizing Hamas. The Russians have essentially told Obama just pull missle defense from Poland without asking for anything in return, that is, help with Iran. The Chinese say they hate us because of this financial crisis. Venezuela is thumbing it’s nose and cutting deals with Russia and China, Jihadists are encouraged by our weakness signals, and Obama and the Europeans are talking big, about providing cradle to grave security for all families, worldwide.
Anyone hear about Obama’s budget plan proposed to double foreign aid, to exceed $50 Billion?
Before the election many people warned about this radical young politician from Chicago, calling him the most liberal in America, a man with grand socialist designs, and questionable associations.
Looks like those people had a handle on the truth, but failed to inform the electorate sufficiently, and now, we are stuck with King George on steroids.
At the risk of overdoing it, did we mention public funding of abortion globally, doubling the failed Dept. of Education, gun control legislation, amnesty for illegal aliens, government-run healthcare (a bureaucrat between you and your doctor), Fairness Doctrine (infringement on freedom of speech, press), handing sovereignty to UN, going soft of the war on terror, government take over of private industry, nationalization movement, cuts in defense rendering us vulnerable to our enemies, insurmountable debt, generational theft, confiscatory taxation and hate crimes legislation to silence Christians.
