Begala: Sexist Hypocrite

By Allan Erickson

Gaze upon the face of sexist hypocrisy.

This is Paul Begala, Democrat strategist, CNN commentator, and political consultant for Bill Clinton’s presidential campaign in 1992, (now part of the Obama war room).

Begala was counselor to Clinton in the White House, so he was thoroughly aware of Clinton’s womanizing, including the incident when Bill impregnated a Black girl in the south, a girl who was later paid hush money by Clinton operatives.  Begala apparently could care less when women are exploited, mistreated, even raped.  Political supremacy is all that matters.

Consequently, in the tradition of an arrogant, out-of-touch, sexist partisan, Begala wrote the following today concerning McCain’s decision to select Sarah Palin as his running mate:

“In his first presidential decision, John McCain has shown that he is willing to endanger his country, potentially leaving it in the hands of someone who simply has no business being a heartbeat away from the most powerful, complicated, difficult job in human history.”

Really Mr. Begala.   Sarah Palin is dangerous?  Really.   Dangerous to Obama’s ambitions, certainly!  (No wonder you are hysterical Paul!)

Let’s remember Begala is a Clinton loyalist.  He endorsed and supported Hillary against Obama, agreeing with Biden, Bill and Hillary, and many other Dem king/queen makers, that Obama is unfit to be president due to lack of experience.

Begala and others made that argument knowing full well Hillary was/is unqualified.

Has Hillary ever held an executive position?  NO.

Has Hillary ever been elected to office other than the Machine crow barring her into a N.Y. Senate seat?  NO

Does anyone really believe Hillary is qualified to be President because she was First Lady for 8 years?  NO

Has Hillary ever run a business?  NO

Has Hillary ever distinguished herself outside of her husband’s shadow?  NO, other than the most recent campaign which wound up in defeat and millions in debt, and even then, Bill cast a shadow.

Have there ever been serious questions about Hillary’s integrity, character, trustworthiness?  YES.

Now, let’s look at Sarah Palin in the same way.

Has Sarah ever held and executive position?  YES.  Mayor and Governor.

Has Sarah ever been elected to office?  YES.  City Council, Mayor, Governor, having served in elective office 16 years.

Has Sarah ever run a business?  YES.

Has Sarah ever distinguished herself outside of her husband’s shadow?  YES.  Sportscaster.  Miss Alaska.  Point guard, state champs, basketball.  Pilot.  Businesswoman.  Marathon runner.   Sportswoman.  President of Alaska  Council of Mayors.  Ethics Commissioner of the Alaska Oil and Gas Conservation Commission.

Have there ever been serious questions about Sarah’s integrity, character, trustworthiness.  NO

Hillary and Sarah have this in common: they both believe McCain is more qualified to be President than Obama.

As Governor she has appointed Democrats and Independents.

Let’s face it Mr. Begala.  Women are only tools for your ambition, and if they threaten your ambition, they are dangerous.  That makes you a sexist of the highest order.

Promoting Hillary and condemning Sarah makes you a hypocrite.

You supported a womanizer for many years, then promoted unqualified Hillary, denouncing Obama, then promoted unqualified Obama, while faulting highly qualified McCain, calling Palin dangerous, when she is more qualified than Obama!

Paul Begala: never has one man been so wrong so often in such a short time in so many ways.

People like you Mr. Begala pose the real threat to this nation’s well-being.

Excerpt by Doug Patton

“Bill Clinton set a stellar example for Barack Obama. Neither of them understands the difference between campaigning and governing. But then, they did surround themselves with the same people, didn’t they?

Former Clinton advisor Rahm Emanuel, now Obama’s chief of staff, is once more cahootinizing with recycled Clinton hacks James Carville and Paul Begala. The trio is up to their old tricks again, running the White House war room as if they never left.”
