Obama’s noble truth is a lie . . .

. . . by Alan Keyes

Excerpts                  The Embassy : Keyes and Obama (Part One)

“Lester, let’s finish this one. Do all of your listeners and the listeners throughout this country the service to which any journalist owes those listeners, and that is the pursuit of the noble truth. And the noble truth is that the president was born in Hawaii, a state of the United States of America.”(White House press secretary Robert Gibbs, as reported in WND’s article, “Now White House joins ‘birth hospital’ cover-up.”)

This is precisely the kind of propaganda choreography we are seeing in the Obama faction’s handling of the issues surrounding their failure to establish Obama’s constitutional eligibility for the presidency. I think Gibbs’ reference to “the noble truth” was his way of warning Les Kinsolving (and of course all other journalists) that they will have to get with the party line or suffer the consequences.

What consequences? We get hints of the near future in the fate of the U.S. Army reserve officer who has apparently lost his job because he felt it his sworn duty to demand the facts about Obama’s birth before accepting Obama’s authority to act as his commander in chief. (“Army warrior terminated from job after questioning Obama eligibility.”) His livelihood was vulnerable because he works for a defense contractor.

But with the government grabbing the whip hand over more and more of our economy, the day isn’t far off when everyone’s livelihood will be subject to government sanction, in one way or another. Access to work, housing and health care will be dependent on structures ultimately subject to the dictation of those who control political and bureaucratic power. And if the handling of the so-called “stimulus” money is any indication, there will be no safeguards against abuse of this control. Then we will all devote ourselves to the governing faction’s “pursuit of the noble truth,” or else.

I fail to see anything noble in the spectacle of a free people surrendering its constitutional liberty to a regime based upon oppressive lies. In fact, such surrender confirms that in our present merely human condition, true events can be ugly and ignoble.

  1. Personal History of a Birther

How about a little personal history for what is behind me being a “birther”

I read the “Warren Report” and I believe that Lee Harvey Oswald was a lone gunman.

I have never seen a flying saucer, even though I am a pilot and an air traffic control man.

I don’t believe that “Big Foot” exists.

I think Islamic terrorists took down the World Trade Center.

I don’t believe FEMA is planning to round up citizens and put them in concentration camps, and I don’t think swine flu is an international conspiracy.

The Lock Ness Monster is a fantasy.

I am certain that the Apollo mission actually went to the moon.

There are no more missing aircraft and ships in the so called “Bermuda Triangle” than in any other part of the earth with equivalent traffic.

After having reviewed the REAL science, I am convinced that Global Warming is a huge scam.

I have a PhD, and am in private practice as a psychotherapist, so more than likely I am not crazy.

The guiding principles for my professional research for articles and books I write are the usual protocols of epistemology, scientific methodology, and rules of logic and the rules of evidence.

However, I am firmly convinced that AKA Obama is not eligible to be POTUS, and here is why:

If you read the articles at the link, and review the citations at the embedded links, you will be “literate” about the facts of the “eligibility” story and will be able to inform the public objectively.

    First rate!

What happens if Obama is ruled ineligible?

The 20th amendment, section 3 apparently

    Hey Allan,

I see you’re a big fan of World Net Daily, so you’ll enjoy this August 23, 2008 article from them on on Barak Obama’s birth certificate.

“A separate WND investigation into Obama’s certification of live birth utilizing forgery experts also found the document to be authentic.”

    Have fun!
    Read it, it’s quite amusing!

You really are a black and white thinker aren’t you?

  6. sinned34 says:

You really are a black and white thinker aren’t you?

That question is completely irrelevant to the article I quoted. What do you think of it?

What I was trying to point out is the hilarity/hypocrisy of WND stating that they confirmed the birth certificate is legitimate, and then turning around to feed the “Birther” movement.

Barak Obama is a legitimate president. Perhaps it would be best to move on to actual criticisms of a number of his policies, of which there are many that deserve criticism. The Republicans need to pull themselves together to form an effective opposition, instead of wasting time chasing ridiculous fringe theories the way the Democrats did with their “George Bush lost the election” whining back in 2000.

  7. Allan Erickson says:

    sinned34:

Not only are you fact-challenged, you are reactionary. You cite an old WND article. They have obviously changed their tune in the face of new information, something you appear incapable of doing. Informed opinion and a willingness to change opinion when confronted with new evidence are the marks of true intellectual integrity, something you’ve yet to embrace.

A ‘certificate of live birth’ can be obtained by anybody moving to Hawaii. It is not proof of having been born in Hawaii. A certified birth certificate is required, something Obama refuses to present, which is part of all the suspicion. He has spent $1M in legal fees to fight this thing. Obviously he has something to hide. Not only that, various experts have alleged the digital document presented by the Obama campaign, which they have since taken off the internet, is a forged document.

BTW, the ‘birther’ movement has nothing to do with the Republican Party. Berg is a lifelong Democrat. Alan Keyes is not a Republican. Orly Taitz is non-partisan so far as I know. Many independents are challenging Obama to prove he is native born. A number of Hillary supporters accuse Obama of being a usurper. Any citizen devoted to the defense of the Constitution and the integrity of our Republic should be concerned that the executive branch appears willing to violate the Constitution, in effect, rail roading tryanny.

I agree the Democrats whined in 2000 and in 2004 and those were futile and wasteful exercises without merit.

However, the question of Obama’s eligibility is central to our survival as a free people. If Obama usurped the office, running for office fraudulently, and we turn a blind eye, why then should anyone obey the law? We were founded on the rule of law. Without that common agreement and mutual respect, any strong man can take over.

To ignore this crucial issue is to invite anarchy which Lefists routinely use to establish oligarchy.

But, if freedom isn’t that important to you, by all means, ignore the warning signs and bask in your apathy and ignorance.

  8. sinned34 says:

Not only are you fact-challenged, you are reactionary.

It’s called being REASONABLE. The root word of which, “reason” I notice is in short supply here. What’s this “new information”, that has surfaced since then? I doubt the WND found any “new information”, they probably did what most partisan demagogues (like Michael Moore, Rush Limbaugh, Michelle Malkin, etc) do: they found a way to misrepresent an opponent in a manner they can exploit to make money. I notice that they’re now selling items to cash in on the Birther nonsense!

Informed opinion and a willingness to change opinion when confronted with new evidence are the marks of true intellectual integrity, something you’ve yet to embrace.

You get all your information from the WND and conspiracty theorists, yet you accuse me of being uninformed? Pot, meet kettle!

A ‘certificate of live birth’ can be obtained by anybody moving to Hawaii. It is not proof of having been born in Hawaii.

Are you kidding me? A “Certificate of live birth” IS a “birth certificate.” You are seriously trying to tell me that I can go to Hawaii, simply request a “certificate of live birth”, and receive my “birth certificate” stating that I was born there, when I most certainly wasn’t? You’re lying, or you’re believing one of the most ridiculous lies that I’ve heard since, “I did not have sexual relations with that woman.” Have you tried going to the State Of Hawaii’s website to look up the details of a ‘certificate of live birth’? It’s obvious you haven’t!

A certified birth certificate is required, something Obama refuses to present, which is part of all the suspicion.

A certified birth certificate is required for what?

He has spent $1M in legal fees to fight this thing.

The only links I can find on Birther sites show that the Democratic Party paid about a million dollars to a couple of law firms (one of whom is supposedly representing Obama on these Birther cases) during the last part of the election campaign and into the first three months of his presidency. Please provide the breakdown of those bills that confirm the entire million dollars you cited actually went to the defense of these specific cases. I didn’t realize that you were naive enough to think that Obama and the Democrat Party wasn’t receiving huge amounts of legal advice on a plethora of matters during an election to the presidency of the most powerful nation on Earth!

Obviously he has something to hide.

Of course, because people would never defend themselves from obviously frivilous lawsuits filed by people for whom there will never be enough evidence to convince them they are wrong.

Not only that, various experts have alleged the digital document presented by the Obama campaign, which they have since taken off the internet, is a forged document.

I’ve found two nonpartisan websites that disagree, and the director of the Hawaii Department of Health himself has confirmed that the document was legitimate. I won’t bother posting them here, since I doubt you’d bother to look at it anyways. It only took me about 10 minutes to find this info, and if you can drag yourself away from the wild and wooley WingNut Daily for a short time, you can find it, too.

BTW, the ‘birther’ movement has nothing to do with the Republican Party.

You’re right, the few sane Republicans left are avoiding the issue like a dead skunk on the road. It’s the lunatic fringe that are running with this ridiculous theory. Remember that not all the Dems were whining about the 2000 election, and a handful of independants joined in with the complainers, too.

Any citizen devoted to the defense of the Constitution and the integrity of our Republic should be concerned that the executive branch appears willing to violate the Constitution, in effect, rail roading tryanny.

Yeah… You’re at least 100 years too late to stop that. I have to agree though, it’s been hard to tell the difference between Obama and George W. Bush when it comes to executive power grabs. The integrity of the US Republic has been declining practically since the day of its inception.

I agree the Democrats whined in 2000 and in 2004 and those were futile and wasteful exercises without merit.

This Birther exercise looks to be exactly the same type of futility. Don’t you think it’s better to critique Obama’s many actual missteps instead of wasting time on this kind of pathetic conspiracy theory of a non-issue?

The question of Obama’s eligibility is central to oursurvival as a free people.

Wow, really? Well, it’s a good thing there really isn’t any question: Obama was eligible and was elected by a majority vote of Americans. Only a handful of crazies has been convinced otherwise.

If Obama usurped the office, running for office fraudulently, and we turn a blind eye, why should anyone obey the law?

You sound just like the far left wingers: “If Bush and Cheney ordered torture, and we don’t prosecute them for it, why should anyone obey the law?”

If we are relying on politicians for our sense of justice and honor, we are in a VERY sorry state.

To ignore this crucial issue is to invite anarchy which Lefists routinely use to establish oligarchy.

To ignore this “crucial” issue is to ignore willfully ignorant stupidity, which right-wingers routinely use to establish executive privilige.

But, if freedom isn’t that important to you, by all means, ignore the warning signs and bask in your apathy and ignorance.

I’ll wager I enjoy freedom a lot more than you do. Plus, the only warning sign that I’ve seen here is that you obviously swallow anything the WND prints hook, line, and sinker.

Now, please feel free to specifically rebut anything I’ve written here. I’ll wager you can’t, or won’t!

  9. Allan Erickson says:

    sinned 34:

Do you even know the difference between a democracy and a republic?

I get my information from a wide variety of sources. If you spent less time writing drivel, and more time reading, you would know that.

Did you know for example that there are dozens of legal actions being brought challenging Obama’s natural born status, that many of these actions involve military brass, and that 400,000 Americans have signed a petition demanding the question be answered?

If you cannot fathom the Constitutional crisis this whole question presents, then you’ll have to seek assistance elsewhere.

You can do your own research on the $1M Obama has spent, and the difference between a certification of live birth, and a certified birth certificate. I’m not here to run errands for you.

I’m sure you Google what you need to become more aware. Maybe you too can come up with an online news service and sell bumper stickers to get rich.

  10. Allan Erickson says:

PS: Knowing you’ll not change your mind in the face of compelling evidence, here goes anyway.
